Japanese Tea + Sound
Marika Koguchi, in Amsterdam just for this weekend, will guide an immersive sound meditation accompanied by a curated tasting of Japanese green teas and traditional okashi (sweets).
Through sound, stillness, and tea, guests are invited into a deeply restorative experience designed to quiet the mind and awaken the senses.
Ceremonial-grade matcha, sencha, and genmaicha sourced through The Matcha Factory will be served throughout the journey. The teas are organically and sustainably cultivated by the renowned Kinezuka family in Shizuoka, Japan, whose pioneering approach to regenerative, zero-waste tea farming has helped shape the future of organic Japanese tea.
Afterhours Teahouse
For one evening only, The Stargate welcomes Olivia Pauline in town from Stockholm. Olivia creates intimate sonic landscapes where voice, crystal bowls, and atmospheric electronics merge into a deeply meditative live performance. Her music blurs the boundaries between concert and ceremony, inviting listeners into a space of quiet immersion and connection.
Also joining for this weekend only is Marika Koguchi bringing her Japanese zen tea ceremony with a curated selection of Japanese teas.
Join us for a night of unlimited premium tea, inspiration, and unexpected encounters within the immersive Afterhours Tea House.
Drop in anytime, with the live music performance unfolding from 20:15.
